Gang of four jailed for setting fire to vehicles in Jebel Ali

Al Ain Court of First Instance obligated a number of people to return Dhs260,000 to a man and also fined them Dhs30,000, on charges of seizing the amount from the victim whom they had deluded into believing that they had a scrap for sale.
After the victim inspected the scrap, he gave them the amount, but they refused to hand over the scrap documents to him.
In detail, a person filed a lawsuit against a number of people in which he requested that they be obligated to pay him Dhs260,000 and compensation of Dhs50,000 for the damages he incurred, as well as the fees and expenses of the lawsuit and lawyer’s fees.
The plaintiff said that the suspects claimed that they had a scrap for sale, and after he inspected it, they asked for Dhs260,000 as price and after he handed them the amount, they refused to give him the scrap documents.
They were reportedly convicted for that incident according to a criminal ruling, of which the plaintiff provided a copy.
The court explained that the case papers proved that the appellees were convicted of the charge of seizing the amount from the plaintiff, and then it obligated them to return the amount of Dhs260,000 to him, besides a compensation of Dhs30,000 for all the damages he incurred.
